The Uniswap app enables by default a small set of trusted token lists.

Managing Token Lists

Uniswap Labs has a Default Token List which is switched on by default in the web app. When selecting which tokens to swap, you can go into the “Manage Token Lists” link.

From here, you can toggle token lists on and off according to your preferences.

You can browse popular token lists on the Token Lists site.

 

Adding a Token List

If there’s a specific Token List you’d like to add to your lists, you can find the URL on the Token List site by choosing your preferred list and copying the URL.

How do I get my token project added to a token list?

Token Lists a new standard for creating lists of ERC20 tokens. This is a community-led initiative to improve discoverability and trust in ERC20 token lists in a manner that is inclusive, transparent, and decentralized. You can connect with the Token List community or create your own list here.

Uniswap Labs has an internal process for adding tokens to the Uniswap Labs Default List and is not currently accepting applications.

You can submit applications to popular lists Coinmarketcap and Coingecko on their respective websites.

How do I make sure my token’s logo is visible in the token list?

In order to make sure your token's logo is visible, once your project is on a token list, you'll need to make sure:

  1. the image URL in that token list is valid
  2. CORS policy is not blocking the URL request by making sure the server that serves the image has Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Access-Control-Allow-Origin
