You can provide liquidity over the full price range. Your rate of return may be lower than a similar position with a more narrow price range.
Full Range in Uniswap v2
When providing liquidity using Uniswap v2, liquidity is added over the full price range, from zero to infinity.
There is no way to concentrate the liquidity to a specific price range. The price may not reach the full range you provided liquidity for, which can result in lower fees earned.
Full Range in Uniswap v3
When providing liquidity using Uniswap v3, liquidity can be added over any price range, or the full price range.
This means that you can add liquidity to a specific price range, which may result in greater fees earned and a position that is closer to the current price.
To add liquidity over the full range in Uniswap v3 select the ‘Full Range’ icon.
This will set your minimum price to 0 and your maximum price to infinity. Once you have selected the full range, you can enter your token amounts and add liquidity.
