Earn on Uniswap

Earn lets you earn yield on your assets directly from the Uniswap app, without leaving to use another platform. You deposit a supported token into a vault, your funds are lent out to borrowers who pay interest, and your balance earns yield over time. You stay in control of your funds, and there are no lockups.

Earn is currently available on Ethereum Mainnet for USDC, USDT, and ETH.

Earn is powered by Morpho, a non-custodial lending protocol. Your deposit goes into a Morpho vault, where a curator (Gauntlet) selects which lending markets the vault allocates to, within limits enforced onchain. The vault is owned by the Uniswap DAO. Your position is held in vault shares onchain and is the same whether you view it in the Uniswap app or on Morpho.

If you have any questions or concerns about yield, performance calculations, or the vault, please reach out to the Morpho support center here. Uniswap Labs does not control the vault and cannot provide support.

Get started

  1. In the Uniswap app, find Earn in the Explore tab, in the Portfolio tab, or on a supported token's page. You may also see an option to start earning when you swap into a supported token.
  2. Select the token you want to earn on (USDC, USDT, or WETH).
  3. Select Deposit.

Deposit your funds

  1. Enter the amount you want to deposit.
  2. Confirm the network token to use for the deposit.
  3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet. This requires a single signature and has a network cost.

Your funds begin earning yield as soon as the deposit confirms.

Note: Your balance is shown as an earning portion and a non-earning portion, so you can always see how much of your balance is earning yield.

Track your earnings

  1. View your earning balance and current APY in the Explore and Portfolio views.
  2. Watch your yield accrue automatically — your earnings compound over time, with nothing to claim or restake.

Note: All Earn rates are variable and subject to change based on strategy of the underlying Morpho lending vault.

Withdraw your funds

  1. Open your Earn balance and select Withdraw.
  2. Enter the amount and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
  3. Receive your original deposit plus the interest it earned.

There is no lockup, cooldown, or unbonding period. Your funds are available on demand.

Note: The amount you can withdraw at any moment depends on the vault's available liquidity. If the underlying markets are fully utilized, you may need to wait for liquidity to become available before withdrawing the full amount.

Troubleshooting errors

Withdrawal errors

Exceeds available balance: Appears if you enter more than your current balance. Lower the amount to what's shown as available and try again.

Limited liquidity: The amount you can withdraw depends on how much of the vault's liquidity is currently available. If borrowing demand is high, there may not be enough liquidity for you to withdraw your full balance. When this happens, your available amount to withdraw will show as lower than your total balance. The rest of your balance stays deposited and earning until there is enough liquidity for you to withdraw it.

Withdrawals unavailable: If none of your balance is available to withdraw, you'll see a "Check back soon" message letting you know withdrawals are temporarily limited due to high demand. Your funds keep earning in the meantime, so try again later.

Deposit errors

Minimum deposit: Deposits must be at least $5. Enter a larger amount to continue.

No routes found: A price quote couldn't be found for your deposit (or withdrawal to a different network), usually because the amount is very small or liquidity is thin. Try a larger amount or try again later.

Insufficient funds for network cost: Your wallet doesn't have enough of the native token to cover network fees. This can happen on same-chain or cross-chain deposits and withdrawals. Costs vary depending on network activity and which network you're depositing from or to, so the amount needed isn't always the same. Add more of the relevant native token (for example, ETH if you're on Ethereum or Arbitrum) to your wallet and try again.

Other errors: If a transaction fails for another reason, you'll see "Transaction failed. Please try again." Retry the transaction; if it keeps failing, check your network connection and wallet balance before trying again.
