The swap deadline is the length of time that a swap can be pending before it will revert. The default is 30 minutes, but you can adjust it anywhere between one minute and three days. Adjusting the swap deadline can impact your swap in different ways.
If the swap deadline time frame is too short, transactions can fail and you may lose gas fees. If the time frame is too long, you may get an unexpected outcome due to price fluctuations.
How to change the swap deadline in the swap settings:
- Select the settings icon.
- Enter your desired swap deadline in minutes. The maximum deadline is 3 days (4,320 minutes). Changing the swap deadline only affects the current swap.
