Troubleshooting: Clearing Uniswap App Data

You can clear Uniswap app data from the Settings menu. This includes any pending transactions stuck in the browser. The recovery phrases stored in the mobile app and browser extension will not be affected.

There are three different options for clearing data the app has saved over time. All three options are safe to use, as they only reset preferences and caches to their default state.

To clear app data:

  1. Select the Settings gear icon. (On mobile, select the wallet icon to find the Settings gear.)
  2. Select "Advanced".
  3. Select "App data".
  4. Choose the option that best fits your needs:
    • “Clear account history” will clear any stuck transactions, token balance display issues, and your transaction history.
    • “Clear personal preferences” will clear any personal preferences, such as swap settings (including slippage), recent searches, and themes.
    • “Clear cache” will clear the standard cache, which could help with any pricing display issues.
    • “Clear all data” will clear all data for all three above options.
  5. Select "Confirm".
  6. After you see the "Data cleared" message, retry your action.
