Bridging Tokens with Wormhole, Universal, Stargate, and Pendle

You can now use multiple tools to bridge tokens to and from Unichain.

Assets bridged via Wormhole, Universal, Stargate, and Pendle are 1:1 redeemable for their native version on their home chain.
 

Tokens available via Wormhole

As of September 2025, 5 tokens can be bridged to and from Unichain via Wormhole:

How to bridge tokens to Unichain with Wormhole

1. Go to https://portalbridge.com/
2. In the “From” field, select the chain you want to move assets from and the token you want to move.
3. Click the button at the bottom to connect the wallet where your token is stored.
4. In the “To” field, select Unichain.
5. Click the button at the bottom to connect your Uniswap Wallet.
6. Select the correct token in the “To” field.
7. Enter the amount you wish to bridge.
8. View the route and quote, and confirm the transaction.

After the bridge is completed, you can view it on wormholescan.io/

How to bridge tokens back to the home chain with Wormhole

1. Go to https://portalbridge.com/
2. In the “From” field, select Unichain and the token you want to move.
3. Click the button at the bottom to connect your Uniswap Wallet.
4. In the “To” field, select the home chain for your token.
5. Click the button at the bottom to connect the wallet that you use for that chain.
6. Select the correct token in the “To” field.
7. Enter the amount you wish to bridge.
8. View the route and quote, and confirm the transaction.

After the bridge is completed, you can view it on wormholescan.io/

Tokens available via Universal

As of December 2025, 4 tokens can be bridged to and from Unichain via Universal:

How to bridge tokens to Unichain with Universal

1. Go to https://app.universal.xyz/
2. Select “Connect” and connect your wallet.
3. Select to “Mint / Redeem”.
4. Complete the identity verification process with Persona.
5. Select the “Mint” tab and choose the token you wish to bridge to the Unichain network.
6. Enter the amount of the asset you want to bridge.
7. Send the asset to the unique deposit address provided on its source chain.

Once the transaction is complete, XRP will be available within minutes. DOGE and ZEC will be up to a few hours because they are older blockchains with longer times to finality.

How to bridge tokens back to the home chain with Universal

1. Go to https://app.universal.xyz/
2. Select “Connect” and connect your wallet.
3. Select to “Mint / Redeem”.
4. Complete the identity verification process with Persona.
5. Select the “Redeem” tab and choose the token you wish to bridge back from the Unichain network.
6. Enter the amount of the token you want to bridge.
7. Provide your wallet address for the destination chain (e.g., Dogechain, XRP Ledger, Zcash).
8. Send the asset from your Unichain wallet to the Universal contract address provided.

Once the transaction is complete, XRP will be available within minutes. DOGE and ZEC will be up to a few hours because they are older blockchains with longer times to finality.

Tokens available via Stargate

As of November 2025, 1 token can be bridged to and from Unichain via Stargate:

• XPL

How to bridge tokens to Unichain with Stargate

1. Go to https://stargate.finance/
2. Select “Connect” and connect your wallet.
3. Select “Transfer”.
4. Choose the token you wish to bridge back to the Unichain network.
5. Enter the amount of the token you want to bridge.
6. Select the network you want to bridge to.
7. Select “Transfer”.
8. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Once the transaction is complete, the token will be available in your wallet, typically within a few minutes.

How to bridge tokens back to the home chain with Stargate

1. Go to https://stargate.finance/
2. Select “Connect” and connect your wallet.
3. Select “Transfer”.
4. Choose the token you wish to bridge back from the Unichain network.
5. Enter the amount of the token you want to bridge.
6. Select the network you want to bridge to.
7. Select “Transfer”.
8. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Once the transaction is complete, the token will be available in your wallet, typically within a few minutes.

Principal Tokens available via Pendle

As of December 2025, 2 PTs can be bridged to and from Unichain via Pendle:

How to bridge Principal Tokens (PTs) to Unichain with Pendle

To learn more about Pendle and how it uses PTs, visit Pendle’s Education resources here.

1. Go to https://app.pendle.finance/trade/crosschain-pt to see the list of all cross-chain PTs.
2. Select “Connect Wallet” and connect your wallet.
3. Select the Unichain PTs you’d like to bridge.
4. You will need to buy PTs on Pendle’s interface. To do so, you must hold the original base asset of the PT on its original chain. This means you need cUSD on the Ethereum network or USDai on the Arbitrum network.
5. To buy PTs, input how much you want to purchase on Pendle's interface and wait for the transaction to process.
6. Select the tab “Bridge PT to Supported Chains” and input how many PTs you’d like to bridge to Unichain. Make sure that Unichain is selected as the destination chain.
7. Select “Bridge PT”.
    

How to bridge tokens back to the home chain with Pendle

1. Go to  https://app.pendle.finance/trade/crosschain-pt
2. Select “Connect Wallet” and connect your wallet.
3. Select the Unichain PTs you’d like to bridge.
4. Select the tab “Bridge PT to Supported Chains” and input how many PTs you’d like to bridge.
5. Select the network you want to bridge to.
6. Select “Bridge PT”.

Once the transaction is complete, the token will be available in your wallet, typically within a few minutes.

Warnings when using Wormhole, Universal, Stargate, and Pendle

You may see a warning when sending bridged tokens. If a wallet is incompatible with Unichain, or if you send your bridged tokens to a centralized exchange, you may lose them permanently. Always confirm that the wallet you are sending to is compatible with Unichain.
