Swapping with Uniswap on Zora is the same as swapping on the Ethereum Mainnet.
To swap on Zora, follow these steps:
- Open Uniswap web app and connect your wallet. Next, select the network drop-down.
- Select “Zora”.
- Select the token drop-down.
- Search for and select the token you wish to swap. You can browse the token list or search for a token by name or contract address.
- Now you have to select the token you want to swap for. Select the token drop-down.
- Search for and select the token you wish to swap for. You can browse the token list or search for a token by name or contract address.
- Enter the amount you would like to swap, receive, or select the “Max” option.
The “Max” option automatically inputs the total amount of the token you have available in your wallet for swapping.
- Select “Swap”.
- Select “Approve and swap”.
Your trade will only use Uniswap V3 liquidity pools on the Zora network -- it will not use a different network’s liquidity, even if a better price is available on a different network.
- In your wallet, approve Uniswap to access the token you are swapping. This transaction requires network costs.
For more information on token approvals see our article “What is a token approval”. - In your wallet, sign the message. This transaction will not require a network cost. This message is a Permit2 signature.

- Once the swap is confirmed, the transaction is submitted to the blockchain (pending).
- You will see “Swap success” and a green checkmark on screen when the transaction is successfully completed.
You have now successfully swapped on Zora! To view your swap on the Zora network you can select “View on Explorer”.
