Some ERC-20 token contracts are not available on Uniswap Labs products .
The Uniswap Protocol is permissionless, meaning anyone can access it at any time and it cannot be changed. Uniswap Labs builds products on top of that Protocol, like the Uniswap web, Wallet and Extension apps. Uniswap Labs is based in the United States and is subject to certain laws and regulations. As such, we maintain an Unsupported Token list at https://unsupportedtokens.uniswap.org/.
In the following circumstances, Uniswap Labs may move a token to the Unsupported Token List:
-
Legal and regulatory requirements. An agency settlement, court judgment, or other legal action finds that the tokens when traded in secondary transactions are subject to unmet regulatory requirements; or otherwise, upon internal legal review, and consultation with counsel.
-
Fraud allegations. A major financial or criminal regulator files fraud allegations against the token issuer.
-
Intellectual property claims. A holder of intellectual property serves us with notice of plausible infringement of:
a. a copyright, this is subject to notice and takedown provisions of the DMCA
b. a trademark, this is not subject to the DMCA and its established counter-notice procedures), or
c. the publicity rights of a third party (beyond the mere usage of a common name, and again not subject to the DMCA).
- Risks to users. We believe there are technical or other risks that could significantly affect user safety.

If you think your token has been put on this list in error, please see our appeal process.
