How do I set up Face ID, Touch ID, or Biometrics in the Uniswap Wallet

You can secure your Uniswap Wallet by requiring Face ID, Touch ID, or Biometrics before the app will open or any swaps are submitted.

Face ID and Touch ID are available on Apple iPhones. Biometrics is available on Android devices.

With Face ID, Touch ID, or Biometrics enabled, each time your Uniswap Wallet app is opened or before a transaction is submitted verification by Face ID, Touch ID, or Biometrics be required first.

This feature protects your device, however, it is important to note that this does not replace or protect your recovery phrase.

Your recovery phrase should be written down, kept in a safe place, and never shared with anyone. Unauthorized transactions can occur if the recovery phrase has been compromised.

How to set up Face ID, Touch ID, or Biometrics in the Uniswap Wallet:

1. Select the “Settings” menu.
   
   

2. Select “Face/Touch ID” (on iPhone) or “Biometrics” (on Android).
   
   

3. Enable Face/Touch ID or Biometrics for “App Access” and/or “Transactions”.
   
   

   
   
   

4. When the switch is pink, Face/Touch ID or Biometrics is enabled.
