How to backup your recovery phrase on iCloud or Google Drive

When you back up your recovery phrase on iCloud or Google Drive, your recovery phrase is securely stored in an encrypted fie on the cloud.

The encrypted file storing your recovery phrase will require a password before it can be opened. You will be asked to set this password when creating a iCloud or Google Drive backup.

Your iCloud or Google Drive back up password is not the same as the password for your iCloud or Google Drive account.

Please write down and securely store your iCloud or Google Drive back up password. Without this password you will be unable to access your recovery phrase using iCloud or Google Drive back up.

To backup your recovery phrase on iCloud or Google Drive:

  1. Select the “Settings” icon.

  2. Select the wallet you would like to back up.

  3. Select “iCloud backup” for iPhone and “Google Drive backup” for Android.

You should write down your iCloud/Google Drive backup password as well. If you forget your password or your recovery phrase, Uniswap Labs cannot retrieve it.
