How to back up your recovery phrase on iCloud or Google Drive

When you back up your recovery phrase on iCloud or Google Drive, your recovery phrase is securely stored in an encrypted fie on the cloud.

The encrypted file storing your recovery phrase will require a password to open. You will set this password when creating a iCloud or Google Drive backup.

Your iCloud or Google Drive back up password is not the same as the password for your iCloud or Google Drive account.

Please write down and securely store your iCloud or Google Drive back up password. Without this password you will be unable to access your recovery phrase using iCloud or Google Drive back up.

To backup your recovery phrase on iCloud or Google Drive respectively:

  1. Select “Back up your wallet”.

  2. Select “Set a recovery password”.
