See how to view your recovery phrase inside the Uniswap Wallet, along with reminders about storing it securely and why it’s essential for regaining access to your wallet.
You can find your recovery phrase in the settings of your Uniswap Wallet app.
Before viewing your recovery phrase, make sure you are in a safe and private location. No one should be able to see your recovery phrase.
Your recovery phrase can be used to import your wallet (and its tokens or NFTs) into another wallet app. If another person has access to your recovery phrase, they are able to access your wallet.
The Uniswap Labs team does not have access to your recovery phrase and will never ask you for it.
How to find your recovery phrase in the Uniswap Wallet:
- Select the settings icon.
- Scroll down and select “Recovery Phrase.”
- Select “View” to see your recovery phrase. Next, write down your recovery phrase.
- Select “Hide your recovery phrase” when you are done.
- Make sure to store your written recovery phrase in a safe and private place.
